Chris, a retired Navy veteran and professional airline pilot, has always had a keen eye for home improvement and design. His dedication to helping homeowners create beautiful, functional spaces led him to Made in the Shade, where he thrives on transforming houses into homes with custom window treatments.
Ian, with over a decade of experience as a finish carpenter and metal fabricator, has worked alongside some of the top builders in the Detroit area. His background in high-end craftsmanship and his contributions to Detroit’s revitalization efforts have shaped his meticulous approach to design and installation.
Together, Chris and Ian bring a unique combination of precision, style, and expertise to every project.
